Magazines

Deviation Street is a new triannual magazine for anyone involved or interested in original punk and post-punk wave music and aesthetics. Promoting outsider artists and musicians whose verve and creativity deserves recognition.

The original Deviation Street was a classic example of a seventies fanzine: stapled, handwritten and all in capitals.

Ol' dirty nostalgia spurred us to gather stories of still-touring epochal indie almost-rans, and wrenching recollections of life with Sid & Nancy. These snippets and our passion for arguments with artists over definitions, these are a few of our favourite things. Not forgetting chats with charitable types 'cos just like Bono: we care.

In many ways we are like the punk by the fireplace, refined by the requirements of livelihood. A little neater, a little cleaner, but not quite ready to shut up.
